MINI Coupe - now undisguised
It’s been an odd debut – the MINI Coupe. We had the ‘Concept’ version of MINI’s two-seat sporty job back at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009. That was followed by a short period where MINI were claiming the Coupe (and its topless twin, the MINI Roadster) were just concepts to see what the public thought.
There are times when we have to wonder whether there really is a global economic crisis; the Tokyo Special Import Show is one of those times. The show in mid-June was all about bling--lots of it--with just enough performance pizzazz to liven things up. It's ironic that while U.S.
Dongfeng Aeolus A60 is set to go on sale in the Chinese market this month for the first time. The car, which uses the platform of the Dongfeng Nissan Bluebird Sylphy, features large headlamps that flank the chrome-topped front grille, creating a DRG reminiscent of its predecessor, the Aeolus A30 as well as some European and American sedans. A rising beltline runs from front to rear, lengthening the appearance of the car and addin a more dynamic character to waht is a very conventinal three-box sedan.
